I got Amsn installed on my Ubuntu 10.10 machine but offline messaging doesn't work.
Although when I start Amsn I do get the message "You have x new Offline Instant Messages", clicking Yes doesn't do anything.

This bug is fixed with Amsn version 0.98.4.
You can download it, but you will need to compile it yourself.
